One for the album: Srikakulam under-14 team which won the ACA North Zone inter-district tournament with former ACA president P. Ashok Gajapathi Raju and others. VISAKHPATNAM: Srikakulam under-14 team created history when it won a title for the district for the first time. The boys won the P.N. Rajagopal trophy in the Andhra Cricket Association's North Zone inter-district tournament which concluded at Vizzy stadium, Vizianagaram on Friday. It drew its last league match with Visakhapatnam after conceding the first innings lead and finished with 13 points on par with Visakhapatnam, last year's winner, but the better run quotient it has managed helped it to clinch the title. It was a proud moment for the team and the district association as it received the trophy from former ACA president P. Ashok Gajapathi Raju. Vice-president of Visakhapatnam District Cricket Association P.R. Narayanaswami, who donated the trophy in memory of his father, pointed out that Srikakulam, in spite of not having good infrastructure or senior players who have played for Ranji trophy and other higher level tournaments, achieved success.
