Renjith sets up Zones win

SASTHAMCOTTA: Renjith's blazing century (132 off 72 balls) set up Zones CC's facile win over IPO ‘B' in the Kollam district ‘A' division cricket league at the DB College ground on Sunday.

In another match, Bluestar, Kundra defeated Town Club, Karunagappally by 42 runs while IPO ‘A' overcame Pataudi CC by 22 runs.

The scores: Zones CC (Kollam) 298 for seven in 40 overs (Renjith 132, Unni 54, Baiju Maheshwaran three for 63) bt IPO ‘B' (Kollam) 221 for seven in 40 ovesr (S.G. Anoop 68, Varun 47, Kannan three for 37).

Bluestar CC (Kundra) 223 for seven in 40 overs (Praveen 62, Anil Jose 39, P. Arun 39, Rajesh three for 36) bt Town Club (Karunagappally) 181 for eight in 40 overs (Sujil 34, Mukesh 32, Viswan three for 37).

IPO ‘A' 203 for eight in 35 overs (Riju 44, M.G. Hari four for 20) bt Pataudi CC 181 in 32.5 overs (M.G. Hari 33, Sanu four or 40, Sajeesh three for 33).
