Coimbatore: The Tamil Nadu Generation and Distribution Corporation (TANGEDCO) has warned house owners who collect excess current consumption charges from the tenants that cases can be filed with the Tamil Nadu Electricity Regulatory Commission under Section 142 of Electricity Act 2003. According to a release, the Superintending Engineer of Coimbatore North has received complaints from tenants that house owners were collecting current consumption charges in excess of the charges fixed by the corporation. Complaints In such instances, tenants should submit written complains to the respective section officer or Superintending Engineer for taking action.
