Special train services extended

CHENNAI: The Southern Railway has announced the extension of operation of two special trains between Patna and Bangalore City and Vasco-Da-Gama and Nagapattinam.
Train number 2296A, Patna – Bangalore City – Patna weekly superfast will pass through Chennai Central railway station.
It will leave Patna at 7.55 p.m. on Tuesdays (November 30 and December 7) and will reach Bangalore City on Thursdays at 8.40 p.m. In the return direction train number 2295A will leave Bangalore City at 9 a.m. on Fridays (December 3 and 10) and will arrive in Patna at 9.20 a.m. on Sundays.
The Vasco-Da-Gama – Nagapattinam – Vasco-Da-Gama Weekly special will pass through Mangalore, Erode and Tiruchi. Train number 0675 will leave Vasco-Da-Gama on Mondays (December 6 and January 17) at 7.10 p.m. and will reach Nagapattinam at 7.15 p.m. the next day.
In the return direction the Nagapattinam – Vasco-Da-Gama Weekly special, train number 0676, will leave Nagapattinam at 10.30 p.m. on Tuesdays (December 7 and January 18) and will reach Vasco-Da-Gama the next day at 10 p.m., the release said.
