Ranji match at Railway stadium from tomorrow

VISAKHAPATNAM: The newly constructed pavilion at the East Coast Railway stadium, Bhubaneswar will be put to use during the Orissa-Punjab Elite Group B Ranji trophy tournament league match to be played from December 1 to 4, president of East Coast Railway Sports Association D.K. Samantray informed in a press release from Bhubaneswar on Monday.

The match is crucial for the home team, which will be led by Debasis Mohanty.

Secretary Saroj Kanta Patra said all arrangements are in place for the match and sports officer Balamurlidhar was supervising the arrangements. Good crowd response was expected for the match.

General Manager of East Coast Railway A.K. Vohra will inaugurate the match at 8.30 a.m. on Wednesday. Former Australian cricketer Michael Bevan will also present.
