Sugarcane ryots give memorandum

SANGAREDDY: Sugarcane farmers in Medak district who were on agitating path continued their protest.

Several farmers submitted a memorandum to Collector S. Suresh Kumar at the Collectorate on Monday. They informed him that the factory managements were not heeding to their request to pay Rs.2,500 per tonne of sugarcane.

The Collector assured them to hold discussions with managements of three factories soon and finalise the issue within a week.
