MRPS to go ahead with Dec.4 meet

HYDERABAD: The Madiga Reservation Porata Samiti (MRPS) will go ahead with the ‘Madiga yuddha bheri mahasabha' on December 4, irrespective of political developments in the State.

Manda Krishna Madiga, MRPS founder-president, in a statement on Tuesday, clarifying on the developments, described them as ‘internal problems of the Congress Party'.

He urged Chief Minister N. Kiran Kumar Reddy to pay immediate attention to the issue of SC categorisation and hold discussions with the Centre. Mr. Krishna warned of revolt by the Madiga community if the demand was neglected.
