CPI(M) for survey of State lands

Staff Reporter

HYDERABAD: The city unit of Communist Party of India (Marxist) on Monday demanded that the government conduct a comprehensive survey of lands to avoid disputes and encroachments at Trimulghery, Bandlaguda and Golconda mandals.

Letter

In a letter addressed to the District Collector, CPI (M) City secretary P.S.N. Murthy said the district administration was unable to protect government lands due to lack of proper records and documents.

This apart, the above three mandals, which are close to Ranga Reddy district border, troubled with jurisdiction problems as well.

Taking advantage of the situation, land grabbers in collusion with Revenue department officials were encroaching precious government lands, he informed.
