GURGAON: Simran Saini's hole-in-one was the talking point of the opening day of the second Hex City Albatross International junior golf championship here on Tuesday. Saini's feat came on the second hole but he could not play consistently well through the day and finished with a card of eight-over in Category ‘B' (13-14 years). Feroz Garewal led with a score of two-over 74. In Category ‘C', Prakhar Asawa carded an astonishing five-under 67 to take the lead. Prakhar, whose father Amit Asawa coaches the Rajasthan Ranji Trophy team, said he was keen to shoot a sub-par card on this day. “I hope I can stay consistent over the next two rounds.” In ‘A' category, South Africa's Dylan Raubenheimer led with a par round. Defending champion Ankur Chadda fared poorly following a card of nine-over. Kshtiij Kaur and Thailand's Tanapal Dusadeepruetthiphal shared the lead in ‘D' category with a par round. Indonesia's Almer Noreen Nurdaffa was ahead in ‘E' category after shooting six-over.
