CHENNAI: Wireless Gadgets Manufacturers India Pvt. Ltd., has launched Techberry projector mobiles in Tamil Nadu. Addressing presspersons after retail launch here on Wednesday, John Yesudhas, CEO, Southeast Asia, said the projector installed mobile phone, priced from Rs.1,000 onwards, was unique and college goers and business executives would be the target customers. The mobile would project high resolution images or videos to any surfaces and would facilitate watching clips and images without the need of large displays. Besides projector mobiles, it was offering wrist phones, memory cards, pen drives, bluetooth devices, laptops and tech-pad. Mr. Yesudhas said the company was planning to introduce budget laptop (less than Rs.10,000) before March 2011. It had also a tie up with Accel Frontline Services to manage the Techberry support and service programme. The CEO said the company was promoted by three entrepreneurs with an investment of Rs.30 crore. He said TechBerry Mobiles pre–launched its range of products in October at Gadget Expo held in Chennai. Over 400 people have pre-booked the product, he said. The products would be sold through distributors across Tamil Nadu in the first phase.
