Strong contenders MEG overacame a stiff challenge from Koramangala SC winning 59-52 with Ajmal James once again playing a stellar role. The results: Men: SAI, Dharwad 74 (Rajesh 23, Abhishek 15) bt BSNL 54 (Yasin 15); Vijaya Bank 60 (Murali Mohan 17) bt CJC 29 (Arjun 8); MEG 59 (Amal James 17, Jijin Joseph 13) bt Koramangala BC 52 (Abhishek 26, Marc 12). Women: NGV 29 (Priya 11) bt CJC 11 . Big win for SJCC St. Joseph's College of Commerce began its quest in the Rotary Club-KSFA Inter Collegiate football tournament with a 12-0 win over KLE PU College at the BUFC ground here on Wednesday. Paul Esteibero (5), Ganesh (4) were the main scorers with Erickson, Chelson and Bharat completing the scoring.
