SHIMOGA: The president of the district unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party, R.K. Siddaramanna, MLC, said on Wednesday that the attack on the house of the political secretary to the Chief Minister, B.J. Puttaswamy, in Bangalore on Tuesday reportedly by Janata Dal (S) workers was condemnable. He told presspersons here that it was unfortunate that none of the Janata Dal (S) leaders, including president of its State unit H.D. Kumaraswamy, had condemned the incident. He said that the BJP was capable of retaliating against the Janata Dal (S) in the same manner, but it would not do so as it did not believe in such coercive tactics.
