Level in tanks up

TIRUPATTUR: The recent rain has increased water level in tanks in Tirupattur and Vaniyambadi taluks.

Water level has gone up in seven Public Works Department (PWD) tanks in the two taluks. Officials of the PWD said five tanks in Tirupattur taluk and two tanks in Vaniyambadi have been overflowing following “good” rain. Bommikuppam Eri, Semmanapudur Eri, Jadayanur, Madapalli and Kurumberi tanks in Tirupattur taluk and Gollamangalam and Agaram Eri in Vaniyambadi taluk have reached their full capacity.
