THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: KPCC president Ramesh Chennithala has asked the Chief Minister to take concerted steps to solve the difficulties experienced by Sabarimala pilgrims. In a letter addressed to V.S. Achuthanandan on Thursday, he said many inadequacies which existed before the commencement of the pilgrim season were continuing even after one month of the season. He pointed out that nine months were available after every pilgrim season to make arrangements for the next season. If the arrangements could not be made during the period and if the difficulties of the pilgrims were increasing, the government and the Travancore Devaswom Board should accept the blame for it.
