Over 150 students, members of teaching community, staff and alumni from both the colleges participated while Delhi University Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dinesh Singh was also present.

The project was aimed primarily at inculcating a sense of dignity of labour in the students and to encourage a healthy work culture and to raise awareness regarding the duty of citizens to care for the environment. The two colleges have a history of rivalry. Thus the event signified a shift from a spirit of competition to cooperation.
