Coimbatore: The Coimbatore Raiders-CDCA invitation Twenty20 cricket tournament for the Aircel Trophy, sponsored by Aircel, will be held at various venues here from December 18 to 26. 36 league playing teams affiliated to the CDCA will take part in the tournament. Each team will be allowed to bring in two players from TN provided they are registered to the TNCA or any other District cricket association. The winner will take home a cash purse of Rs. 1 lakh and the Aircel Trophy. KVP Baskaran, Operations Director (South), Aircel, officially launched the tournament here on Friday. n Krishnamachari Srikkanth unveiled the Aircel Trophy.
