Goa, Orissa in girls' final

KOLKATA: Goa and Orissa girls moved into the final of the 22nd junior National baseball championship on Saturday.

The results:

Boys: Semifinals: Chhattisgarh bt Maharashtra 4-2. Quarterfinals: Maharashtra bt Punjab 4-3; Chhattisgarh bt Chandigarh 2-2 (later pulled out); Delhi bt MP 11-1; Goa bt Uttarakhand 11-1.

Girls: Semifinals: Goa bt Chhattisgarh 10-0; Orissa bt Maharashtra 3-1. Quarterfinals: Chhattisgarh bt Delhi 10-0; Goa bt Uttarakhand 14-0; Maharashtra bt Rajasthan 9-0; Orissa bt MP 4-2 . — Special Correspondent
