CUTTACK: AICC general secretary Rahul Gandhi, MP, is arriving in Cuttack on Wednesday to have an interface with local college and university students. Mr Gandhi is also scheduled to interact with students in Berhampur and Sambalpur on the day and would also meet the students of Mayurbhanj in Shahid Smriti Bhawan at Baripada on Thursday. The Congress leader would meet around 450 students of Cuttack at Saheed Bhawan here and interact with them for about one hour, sources said. Sources further informed that the MP would arrive in the city by helicopter which would land at Sun Shine field around 12 O' clock in the day and from there would drive straight to Saheed Bhawan. Since the AICC general secretary is an SPG protector, adequate security arrangements as per the provisions are made for his visit to the city, said the city DCP A N Sinha. At least ten platoons of Orissa State Armed Police (OSAP) and over 50 officers would be deployed for the MPs one hour visit to the city. Mr Gandhi is scheduled to meet the students of Berhampur at Berhampur University later in the afternoon. Then he would travel to meet the students of Sambalpur.
