Addressing a press conference on Monday, R. The Council works towards promoting total quality management in academics and institutionalising training methodologies for excellence in education to create total quality persons. The Convention would be held at the Lakshmi School at Veerapanchan between January 18 and 20. Convention secretary Selvi Santosham said that the World Council had conducted 13 international conventions so far with the last one held at Nepal. This would be its first national conference in India. “It will provide an opportunity to students to interact with renowned personalities and face a challenging environment so that they can benchmark their skills. They can also improve their networking skills by making friends from across India,” she said. More than 100 schools from 12 States have registered. Over 1,500 students, 500 staff, delegates and judges are expected to arrive at the convention. Some colleges will also take part.
