HYDERABAD: Nine-year-old Narasimha, a fourth standard student who was kidnapped on November 12 from Chandrayanagutta, has been murdered, the police said.
Investigators found that a CRPF constable from Kurnool, who had monetary dispute with Narasimha's parents, got the boy abducted through two persons and smothered him to death the same day. They dumped the body later in Krishna river.
A special party of Hyderabad police had picked up two persons allegedly involved in the murder from Gooty of Anantapur district and brought them to city for questioning.
Though police secured evidence to prove the duo had abducted the boy, they could not trace his body as it was dumped in the river.
