Nehru inaugurates BuildRock

TIRUCHI: The five-day exhibition of building materials – BuildRock-2010 - was inaugurated by State Transport Minister K.N. Nehru here on Wednesday. Organised by the Builders' Association of India, Tiruchi centre, the 16 {+t} {+h} edition of the BuildRock showcases latest products of the construction industry.

As many as 81 stalls had been set up at the expo which is being conducted at the Makkal Mandram in Thillai Nagar and will continue till December 12. Mr. Nehru released a calendar and a diary brought out by the Builders Association of India (BAI), on the occasion.

The Chief Engineer, Water Resources Organisation of the Public Works Department, Tiruchi region, M. Moorthy; BAI Tiruchi centre chairman S. Selvaraj; office bearers and members of the association were present. Various exhibitors involved in the manufacture of construction materials have displayed their products at the expo which concludes on December 12.
