Tax-free cash awards

PANAJI: The National Research Development Corporation ( NRDC) on behalf of the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research ( DSIR) has instituted tax-free cash awards for meritorious innovations.

The maximum amount for NRDC Innovation Award of the Year was Rs. 5 lakh and that of Societal Innovation Award was Rs. 3 lakh.
