VGTM UDA V-C visits VUDA

VISAKHAPATNAM: Vice-Chairman of Vijayawada-Guntur-Tenali-Mangalagiri Urban Development Authority G.S.R.K.R. Vijay Kumar visited VUDA on Monday.

VUDA Vice-Chairman B. Sreedhar briefed him on various projects and explained the procedures being followed for implementation of various policies, housing projects, joint ventures, tourism activities and office administration.

Mr. Vijay Kumar showed keen interest in finding out about the land-pooling project at Paradesipalem in which the land-owners were given a share in the developed area instead of compensation.

Later, Mr. Vijay Kumar visited Bheemili Beach Road, Kailasagiri and Tenneti Park.

Secretary M.S. Bhagavan, DFO B.V.A. Krishna Murthy, Chief Urban Planner K Ananda Babu, Estate Officer A Jagadeesh, Chief Accounts Officer D Vijaya Bharati, Chief Engineer I. Viswanatha Rao and Executive Engineer V Bhavani Shankar were present.
