INDORE: Tamil Nadu overwhelmed Madhya Pradesh by 171 runs in a match of the Cooch Behar (under-19) Trophy on Tuesday. Set a target of 389, MP was dismissed for 217 in its second innings as B. Aparajith claimed four wickets for 54 runs. TN took five points. At Kolkata, the match between Bengal and Jharkhand ended in a draw at the Kalyani Stadium. By virtue of taking the first innings lead, Jharkhand earned three points and Bengal had to be content with one. At Thalassery, Kerala beat Goa by an innings and 127 runs. The scores: TN 344 and 244 bt Madhya Pradesh 200 and 217 in 78.2 overs (A.J. Dhaliwal 108, B. Aparajith four for 54). Bengal 386 & 134 for one in 29 overs drew with Jharkhand 556 for eight declared (B. Kumar 108, A. Singh 120, Rajesh Singh two for 108, Ravikant Singh two for 140, Tuhin Banerjee two for 95). Kerala 515 for eight decl. bt Goa 235 & 153 in 59.4 overs (Ahmed Farseen four for 47).
