Ten years for rape

Bangalore: Dada Peer Hussein (23) was convicted by the 15th Fast Track Court here for abducting and raping a minor girl in 2008.

FTC judge S.K. Ontigodi found him guilty of abducting the 17-year-old girl and raping her in Harihar in Davangere district on January 1, 2008. The judge sentenced him to 10 years' imprisonment and imposed a fine of Rs. 7,000.
