NEW DELHI: Ace Indian cueist Pankaj Advani stormed into the final of the IBSF World snooker championships with a 7-4 win over Ireland's Rodney Goggins at Damascus on Wednesday. Advani won 53-41, 77-44, 48-90, 114-8, 52-44, 32-81, 19-61, 60-18, 22-69, 89-1, 59-8 in their best-of-13 frame semifinal. The 25-year-old will now meet Dechawat Poomajaeng of Thailand in the best-of-19 frame summit clash on Thursday. Poomajaeng defeated compatriot Noppadol Sangnil 7-5 in the other semifinal. Vidya crashes out In the women's event, National champion Vidya Pillai crashed out in the semifinals. Vidya lost 25-64, 7-67, 19-59, 41-84 to Ng On Yee. — PTI
