TIRUPATI: Globally-renowned yoga exponent Swamini Kaliji floored the denizens on Thursday not only with yogic postures, but also with her spell-binding demonstration of attaining spiritual enlightenment. The Triyoga aims at awakening the spontaneous flow of Prana (life-force) by joining postures, breath and with a series of energy-driven hand mudras. What started as an awareness programme on ‘Triyoga' at Sri Thyagaraja Mandapam under the joint aegis of the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams' (TTD) Education department and SV Yoga Kendra, finally assumed the form of a training camp. Kaliji, the inventor of the yogic form, left no stone unturned in popularising it in 31 countries across the globe. In her address, she explained how man should stop searching for permanence in life and instead focus on achieving unfathomable ecstasy and a spiritual delight. “The philosophy of ‘Sat-Chit-Ananda' can be achieved only through yoga”, she explained, enlisting the five parts of yoga such as Yogasana, Yoganidra, Pranayama, Hasthamudra and Dhyana. Kaliji left the audience awestruck by performing the complex yogic postures like ‘Mayurasana', ‘Vajrasana' and ‘Chakrasana' with ease. TTD Education Officer Vidyaranya Swamy expressed concern that though India was endowed with Pathanjali Yogic education, the present generations were not making use of the same. TTD's Public Relations Officer T. Ravi complimented the Swamini for not only mastering Yoga, but also inventing over a 1000 ‘Hastamudrikas' to awaken the ‘Kundalini'.
