Kamat to open crafts bazaar today

PANAJI: Chief Minister Digambar Kamat will inaugurate on Wednesday at Margao in south Goa at 6 p.m. a 10-day Gandhi Shilp Craft Bazaar being jointly organised by Goa Handicrafts Rural and Small Scale Industries Development Corporation Ltd.(GHRSSIDC) and office of Development Commissioner (Handicrafts), Ministry of Textiles, Government of India.

Gandhi Shilp Crafts Bazaar will be held from Wednesday to December 31 at S.G.P.D.A Ground, Margao from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. The bazaar will have artisans participating from throughout India. The crafts bazaar will have handicrafts stalls for display and sale of diverse range of items such as artificial jewellery, leather craft, terracotta, Lucknowi Chikan art, coconut craft, crochet, sea shell craft, wood craft and so on , from different States. There will be variety entertainment programmes from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
