Kerosene seized

VIJAYAWADA: The Kuchipudi police on Wednesday seized 1,400 litres of kerosene meant for public distribution system. According to the police, they intercepted an auto-rickshaw at Yaddanapudi village of Movva mandal, in which the kerosene was being transported illegally.

Police seized the barrels of kerosene and arrested the vehicle driver. Later, the case was shifted to the Revenue Department for further investigation.
