I'm dismayed: Chief Minister
Staff Correspondent
Raichur: Chief Minister B.S. Yeddyurappa on Thursday expressed dismay over the manner in which Governor H.R. Bhardwaj criticised the Government.
The Governor said on Wednesday that he was ready to furnish a list of corrupt people in the State. The Chief Minister said the Governor should have invited him to discuss the issue.
He was speaking to presspersons here before going to Deodurga for campaigning.
The Chief Minister said Union Law Minister M. Veerappa Moily met the Governor on Thursday and the latter should have given the list to him. Criticising any government without valid reasons was not proper, he said.
Mr. Yeddyurappa accused the Congress leaders of trying to malign the image of the Government and that of BJP leaders by making baseless charges.
To a question, the Chief Minister said that the State Government was against the use of endosulfan in agricultural operations and a decision would soon be taken to ban it.
