Nikhil, Lizi to lead Kerala
THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: K.R. Nikhil and Lizi Mathew will lead Kerala men and women teams in the 61st IMG-Reliance National senior basketball championships to be held in New Delhi from December 28 to January 4. Kerala men are placed in Group A along with Indian Railways, Uttarakhand, Services and Karnataka. In the women's section, it is grouped with Indian Railways, Karnataka, Maharashtra and Andhra Pradesh.
The teams: Men: K.R. Nikhil (captain), V. G. Ajith, Eudric Pereira, Monish Wilson, Shinumon Augustine, T.S. Abhilash, Ajeeth Sugunan, M. Bony, Ashin Xavier, Basil Philip, Roby Thomas and Jomon Jose.
Women: Lizi Mathew (captain), Rosmy Thomas, Seena Joseph, P.S. Jeena, P.S. Neenumol, Soniya Joy, M. Athira, Asha Abraham, Ashey Mathew, M.D. Lisha, P. Lijimol and Simi Jacob.
