KOLKATA: Mohammedan Sporting beat Aryan Club 5-4 (1-1) via the tie-breaker in the final to lift the 23rd All-Airlines Gold Cup at its home ground on Sunday.

Satyajit Bose took Mohammedan Sporting ahead in the 60th minute off a Suraj Mondol assist. Aryan restored parity within five minutes when Sporting midfielder Gautam Kujur miscued an attempted clearance and scored an own goal. Sporting scored four times in the tie-breaker while Aryan could net only thrice.

Spoting skipper Dipendu Biswas was the highest scorer of the tournament while defender Debkumar Sasmal was named the player-of-the-final.
