DEHRA DUN: A sanyasi, Shantanand, was found charred to death in his room at Dandi Ashram in Uttarkashi on Wednesday. The police broke open the door that was bolted from inside on receiving information that heavy smoke was coming out of the room. The body has been sent for post-mortem and investigations are on, Superintendent of Police Arun Joshi said.
