Chill factor:With the sky being overcast, day temperatures in the city are likely to fall by two to three degrees and night temperatures are expected to rise by a degree or two. HYDERABAD: The next few days in the capital could witness ‘chilly' conditions, compared to normal weather. Thanks to the overcast conditions, which are likely to continue for the next two days, day time temperatures are set to fall by two to three degrees and night temperatures expected to rise by a degree or two, than the normal. On Wednesday, the maximum temperature dipped to 26 degrees C, while on Tuesday it was 27.6 degrees. It was not just overcast conditions that welcomed everybody on Wednesday. The dip in temperature was coupled with extensive fog cover in several parts of the twin cities. However, the fog cover, MET officials said, was not intensive enough to force rescheduling of flights at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport, Shamshabad. The dry weather, fog and overcast conditions made Wednesday morning rather pleasant for the public. The weather, however, is likely to remain dry but day time temperatures would fall, Hyderabad MET officials maintained. “Low temperature during day time and higher than normal temperature during night is leading to ‘chilly' weather conditions in Hyderabad and other parts of Telangana. There is also a lot of moisture in the air, which makes it even colder,” informed Assistant Meteorologist, Hyderabad MET department, R. V. Subba Rao.
