Korlapati to be feted

VISAKHAPATNAM: Visakhapatnam Book Festival Society and Abhudaya Rachayatula Sangham are jointly organising a programme to felicitate noted litterateur Korlapati Srirama Murthy and to present the Puripanda Award to Dr. V. Simmanna at the Turner's Choultry on Thursday. Former MLA Maanam Anjaneyulu will release the book ‘Waves', a collection of poems by Phani Shankar and the book ‘Telugu Bhasha Charitra' by Dr. Simmanna. CPI leaders J.V. Satyanarayana Murthy and Chalasani Raghavendra Rao and writer Viriyala Lakshmipathy would release other books.

Adapa Ramakrishna, Chandu Subba Rao and Apada Rao among others will participate in the meeting.
