Rashtrapati Nilayam to be open for public

HYDERABAD: Rashtrapati Nilayam, Bollaram, will be opened for public viewing, for the first time, from January 1 to 10.
The entry between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. will be free. Visitors at the entry point will be allowed till 4 p.m., a press release issued by the Rashtrapati Nilayam said on Wednesday. Entry into the Rashtrapati Nilayam will be through the reception at gate no.2. The visitors may contact P. B. Visitors have been advised not to bring water bottles, briefcases, handbags, radios/transistors, arms/ammunition and eatables. Such articles will be not be allowed inside the premises. They will have to be deposited at the entry The opening of Rashtrapati Nilayam premises for general public is one of President Pratibha Patil's people-friendly initiatives. Recently she had inaugurated the herbal garden on the premises. Earlier, a ‘nature trail' was opened for public entry.
