Kancheepuram in final

TIRUNELVELI: Kancheepuram and Tiruvallur entered the final of the ICL Mahaveer Chand Jain Memorial Trophy inter-District under-14 cricket tournament here on Wednesday.

The scores (semifinals): Cuddalore 78 in 25 overs (Aravindhan 25, Divakar three for 14) lost to Tiruvallur 79 for three in 19.5 overs.

Madurai 54 in 23.5 overs (Swaminathan three for 12) lost to Kancheepuram 55 for one in 11 overs (Swaminathan 35). — Principal Correspondent
