HSRC triumphs

VISAKHAPATNAM: Host Hindustan Shipyard Recreation Club (HSRC) won the fifth division clubs event in the 25th D. Sekhar Rao memorial cricket tournament, by beating Association of Bheemli Cricketers, Bheemunipatnam by 106 runs in the final at the Hindustan Shipyard Degree College ground here on Wednesday.

G. Raju and G. Laxman Kumar picked wickets at regular intervals to restrict ABC to 148 as it chased HSRC's total of 254 for nine. Earlier P. Satish (60, 10x4) top-scored for HSRC. B. Rajesh with a half-century and two wickets was declared ‘Man of the Match'.
