Seminar on food safety rules

Kozhikode: The Calicut Chamber of Commerce and Industry in association with Malabar Food Products Dealers Association will organise a seminar on Central government's ‘Food Safety and Standards Rules' at the M.L. Gupta memorial hall of the chamber at 4 p.m. on January 3. M.K. Raghavan, MP, will inaugurate the seminar.

President of Calicut Chamber of Commerce and Industry T.P.Ahmed Koya told reporters here on Saturday that the latest notification and draft regulation regarding the Law on Food Safety Standards posed a lot of problems to people working in the food safety and commerce sectors. The seminar was intended to suggest solutions to these problems, he said.
