Textbook preparation work begins

BANGALORE: The preparation of new Karnataka textbooks based on National Curriculum Framework (NCF- 2005) has commenced. The Education Department is planning to form various preparation committees and has invited teachers from primary and high schools and lecturers in junior and first grade colleges to be part of the committees.

Those interested in preparing textbooks may download applications from the Karnataka Textbooks Association (KTA) website, www.schooleducation.kar.nic.in and submit them by January 20 to the association at DSERT Building, 100 Ft Ring Road, Hosakere Halli, Banashankari III Stage, Bangalore – 560021.
