Harish bats well in FSCA's win

CHENNAI: S. Harish's 75 helped FSCA ‘B' beat Chennai Stars by 42 runs in the KRS-Future Stars Cricket Academy (under-13) cricket tournament here on Sunday.

The scores:

FSCA ‘B' 183 for six in 30 overs (S. Harish 75, T. Ashwin 59) bt Chennai Stars 141 for five in 30 overs (J. Srimon 31).

FSCA ‘B' 141 for eight in 30 overs (Jaya Surya 27 n.o., M. Karthikeyan three for 16) bt N. Kanniah 116 in 29 overs (Nanda Kumar three for 13, M. Sudarshan four for nine).

VBCA 168 in 30 overs (Rohan Seshadri 72 n.o.) lost to FSCA ‘C' 22 in 17.2 overs (S. Ajith Ram three for 4, S. Sidharth three for 6).

Prahlad 202 for six in 30 overs (R. Guru Prasad 32, C.B. Raja Sekar 66, V. Shibi Jawahar 42) bt VBCA 160 in 29 overs (S. Sidharth 48, G. Anush 25, V. Shibi Jawahar three for 39, R. Guru Prasad five for 21).

Jayaram scalps six

P. Jayaram claimed six for three as MAS CC defeated Sundar CC by 108 runs in a first division match of the TNCA - Thiruvallur DCA league here recently.

The scores: (First Division): MAS CC 234 for eight in 45 overs (S. Vasanth Saravanan 85, R. Jesuraj 47) bt Sundar CC 126 in 27.5 overs (P. Jayaram six for three).

Lucas TVS - TDCA Trophy: Delphi TVS 36 in 11.4 overs (Alexander six for 12) lost to Wheels India Ltd. 37 for one in 8.3 overs.

OCF 103 in 23.3 overs (S. Seetharaman four for 26) lost to India Japan Lighting Ltd 104 for five in 21.1 overs.

Irfan Ahmed shines

Syed Irfan Ahmed took four wickets for 23 runs in Reddy's 18-run win over Abdul Jabbar CA in a match of the Prahlad (under-13) Trophy cricket tournament here on Sunday.

The scores: Swastik 98 for four in 30 overs (R.M. Seshan Muthu 41 n.o.) lost to Asiatic 99 for five in 26.5 overs (Rajesh 29 n.o.); Reddy's CA 108 for eight in 30 overs (Syed Irfan Ahmed 25, Tharun Raj three for 23) bt Abdul Jabbar 90 in 26.2 overs (Syed Irfan Ahmed four for 23) .
