Unions' front holds general body meeting

CHENNAI: The Construction Workers Struggle Front, an umbrella organisation of various construction workers' trade unions, held its general body meeting here on Sunday. A resolution was passed pressing for implementation of a 14-point charter of demands, a press release stated. The resolution urged the State government to do away with the rule of demanding village administrative officer's certificate for the enrolment of members in the welfare board.
