COIMBATORE: Dyna Learning Labs recently conducted a one-day seminar on ‘STEM up through guided discovery'. A release said it was a fun-based teaching, learning using robotics. Chairman, The Indian Public Schools, Ashok, presided over the inauguration of the seminar. The institution conducted the seminar exclusively for educationists to make learning interesting and engaging for students through robotics. Mariappan Jawaharlal, professor, Mechanical Engineering, California State Polytechnic University, USA, delivered the keynote address. He spoke on the changes and trends in education and improvements necessary to cope with the demands of the advancing world. The seminar was arranged to highlight reforms required in education, provide the participants an opportunity to explore STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) concepts, as taught in the world's best institutions. Dyna Learning Labs is a subsidiary of Dyna Learning Corp., USA, which is a pioneer in STEM education. It had designed methodologies and imparted education through applied fun labs using cutting-edge technologies such as robotics, 3D design and printing and renewable energy.
