KARIMNAGAR: Minister for Civil Supplies and Legislative Affairs D. Sridhar Babu laid the foundation stone for the construction of an administration building on the Satavahana University campus at Malkapur road on the outskirts of Karimnagar. APSRTC chairman M. Satyanarayana Rao laid the foundation stone for the construction of the women's hostel on the university campus. Legislators G. Kamalakar, M. Praveen Reddy, A. Mohan, MLC N. Laxman Rao, university Vice-Chancellor Md. Iqbal Ali, Collector G.D. Aruna and others were also present. Speaking on the occasion, the Minister said that he would strive to convert Satavahana University into the best university in the country by providing all necessary infrastructure and facilities for the benefit of the students studying in the varisty and faculty members. He called upon the faculty members to accord priority to research activities and strive for the development of the region. He also promised to allocate more funds for the development of the university. The APSRTC chairman praised the Minister Sridhar Babu for his political growth from being a legislator to a Minister in the district.
