HI selection committee
NEW DELHI: Hockey India (HI) named a 10-member selection committee here on Wednesday.
The members of the committee are Col. Balbir Singh, Syed Ali, Rekha Bhide, Rajbir Kaur, Manohar Topno, Thoiba Singh, Harpreet Singh, A.B. Subbaiah, Sita Mehta and Anil Aldrin. Balbir and Sita were part of the previous selection committee too.
The new panel was formed after a meeting of the HI Development Committee, headed by Pargat Singh, here.
The Committee appointed Sukhvir Singh Grewal as the director of coaching and development for both men and women.
It decided to invite the applicants for various coaching and support team posts for presentation and discussion on January 22 and 23. — Principal Correspondent
