Milestone for CBIIT

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Canara Bank Institute of Information Technology (CBIIT) in the capital has completed 10 years imparting free computer training to the economically backward students with emphasis on employment.

Director-General of Police Jacob Punnose was the chief guest at a follow-up meet organised in this connection on the CBIIT premises on Tuesday.

Mr. Punnose interacted with the trainees. He also spoke on the nuances of cyber technology.

General manager of Canara Bank T. Sreekanthan presided and director of the CBIIT Mary James welcomed the gathering.

The CBIIT is sponsored by the Canara Bank Centenary Rural Development Trust.
