Meeting on planned growth of Coimbatore

COIMBATORE: The interface The Hindu and the Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Coimbatore, will conduct on ‘Planned Growth for Coimbatore' on January 7.

Development

This event will be the first one of the ‘Glow Coimbatore' initiative, organised in order to discuss issues that relate to the region's development.

Director of Town and Country Planning Pankaj Kumar Bansal and Coimbatore District Collector P. Umanath will participate in the event on January 7.

The event on Friday will focus on macro-level issues such as Master Plan, Development Control Rules, zoning, and satellite townships.

As the event is meant to focus on broad issues of development, the organisers request that suggestions/ queries may be restricted to such issues.
