Bangalore: Syed Zafaruddin's all-round show (49 and five for 44) helped Presidency School (Nandini Layout) snatch a one-wicket victory over DPS (South) in the KSCA under-16 cricket tournament here.

DPS (South) 217 in 48.1overs (V.R. Milind 81, Syed Zafaruddin five for 44) lost to Presidency School (Nandini Layout) 220 for nine in 47.4 overs (Zafaruddin 49, Anurag Bajpai 48, Sahil Saleem 47, Sadyojath three for 30).

JIRS 353 for five in 45 overs (Mahamud 93, Harshith Gowda 80, Adit 51, Ronak 43 n.o., Manav 33) bt Vidyaniketan School 123 in 35 overs (Himanshu 38 n.o., Yashas 30, Rakesh four for 25).

FAPS 210 for eight in 50 overs (Rimaz Mirza 40 n.o., Sairam Ramesh 26, Naveen three for 36) lost to School Vivekananda 211 for five in 44.2 overs (Dipendra 100 n.o., Om Prakash 53).

VVS Sardar Patel School 77 in 22 overs (P. Bharath 30, R. Samarth four for five, Ojas Yadav four for 14) lost to SJIHS 80 for no loss in 9.4 overs (Saif Siddique 42 n.o., Kevin Bradley 27 n.o.).
