Workshop for Science teachers

Empowerment:Workshop for teachers underway at SRVS National Higher Secondary School, Karaikal.
KARAIKAL: A workshop on ‘practical approach for teaching Science' was organised by the SRVS National Higher Secondary School, Dharmapuram, here recently. The workshop for teachers, pitched at making science teaching interesting and understandable , was conducted by Vijayalakshmi Srivatsan, former principal, P.S.Senior Secondary School, Chennai. Ms.Vijayalakshmi urged teachers to mould young minds towards appreciating the importance of science .
P.Vijayamohana, lecturer in Chemistry, Annai Teresa Government Higher Secondary School, Karaikal, delivered a special address. The workshop was presided over by K.Sellaiyan, chairperson, SRVS National Higher Secondary School.
L.Mohana Vidhyavathy, principal, and others offered felicitations.
The workshop sponsored by Orient Blackswan Private Limited, Chennai, witnessed participation from a cross-section of teaching community in Karaikal.
