D. Marshal's 91 went in vain as Pandalur Taluk Sports Club defeated Blossoms Cricket Club by three wickets in the TNCA-NDCA first division league for the K-Lite Rolling Trophy at the Lawrence School grounds in Coimbatore on Monday.
After restricting its opponent to 232 for nine, Pandalur Taluk, thanks to contributions from R. Praveen (60 not out) and Kunhu Mohammed, scored the required runs with an over to spare.
The scores: Blossoms CC 232 for nine in 40 overs (D. Marshal 91, Tinku Prasheed 40, M. Mujeeb three for 23) lost to Pandalur Taluk SC 235 for seven in 39 overs (R. Praveen 60 not out, Kunhu Mohammed 58, Marshal three for 77) .
